Better Path Homes ("Better Path Homes," "we," "our," or "us") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information you share with us. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit our website, use our investment portal, contact us about properties, or otherwise interact with our services (collectively, the "Services").

By using our Services, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with the terms of this Privacy Policy, please do not use the Services.

    1. Information We Collect

We collect information that you provide directly to us, information we collect automatically when you use the Services, and information we receive from third parties.

    • Information you provide: name, business or entity name, email address, mobile phone number, mailing address, password, investment strategies and funding methods, preferred buying locations, property preferences, saved properties, transaction details, communications you send to us, and any other information you choose to provide.
    • Information collected automatically: IP address, browser type and version, device identifiers, operating system, referring/exit pages, pages viewed, time spent on pages, clickstream data, and other usage and diagnostic information collected through cookies, log files, and similar technologies. When you are signed in, administrators can see which properties you viewed, how often you viewed them, and the first and most recent recorded view times, associated with your account name and email. Anonymous site page views are counted without identifying the visitor in the administrator analytics dashboard.
    • Information from third parties: information from public records, real estate data providers, marketing partners, analytics providers, and service providers who help us operate, secure, and improve the Services.

    2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for purposes including:

    • Providing, maintaining, and improving the Services and our investment portal.
    • Creating and managing your account and authenticating you when you log in.
    • Matching you with off-market and on-market investment opportunities based on your stated strategies, funding, and location preferences.
    • Processing inquiries, offers, contracts, and transactions related to properties.
    • Communicating with you about properties, account activity, marketing updates, and service-related notices (you may opt out of marketing communications at any time).
    • Personalizing content, recommendations, and the experience of the portal.
    • Detecting, preventing, and responding to fraud, abuse, security, or technical issues.
    • Complying with legal obligations and enforcing our Terms and Conditions.

    3. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information in the following circumstances:

    • Service providers: with vendors who perform services on our behalf, such as hosting, analytics, email and SMS delivery, customer support, CRM, payment processing, title and escrow, and security.
    • Business partners: with buyers, sellers, brokers, lenders, and other parties involved in a potential or completed real estate transaction you initiate.
    • Legal and compliance: when required by law, subpoena, court order, or other legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Better Path Homes, our users, or the public.
    • Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of all or part of our assets.
    • With your consent: when you direct us to share your information.

    4. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use cookies, pixels, local storage, and similar technologies to operate the Services, remember your preferences, keep you signed in, measure performance, and understand how you interact with our content. You can adjust your browser settings to refuse cookies or alert you when cookies are being sent; however, some portions of the Services may not function properly without them.

    5. Data Security

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect the information we collect from loss, theft, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

    6. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to provide the Services, comply with our legal and tax obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When information is no longer needed, we will delete or anonymize it.

    7. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information, including the right to access, correct, update, or delete information; to object to or restrict certain processing; to data portability; and to withdraw consent. If we learn we have collected personal information from a child without verified parental consent, we will delete that information promptly.

    9. Third-Party Links

The Services may contain links to third-party websites, services, or tools that are not operated by us. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties, and we encourage you to review their privacy policies before providing any information to them.

    10. Changes to This Privacy Policy
